ArteSpace is an E-Journal of the Arts that archives socio-cultural and historical impulses within communities of aesthetic practice. We look to ask the piercing questions – the difficult questions – in a spirit of curiosity and sensitive engagement with the work of art. The Journal embodies “the artist’s workshop” – a virtual confluence of creative energies. Each edition curates an eclectic set of fresh voices that contextualise, and narrate art praxis through poetry, critical and creative commentary, and provocative scholarship – beyond the existing contours of “Art” as we understand it today.

There is no art practice without language, and ArteSpace seeks to provide the discerning and evolving rasik with a dictionary of sensation, a syntax of movement and feeling – a vocabulary with which to sense the world.
