Poojan Gupta (b. 1998) transforms discarded pharmaceutical blister packs into sculptural installations, treating them as symbols and archives of healing.
Fragility and permanence converge materially and metaphorically in these works, lending density to gestures of healing and its methodologies. A
critique of the vast quantities of waste generated by modern medicine is also implied in them, connecting individual processes of recovery to broader
environmental concerns.
